UV & Anti-Fade Window Film
Southern California's year-round sunshine is hard on interiors — hardwood floors bleach unevenly, upholstery loses its color, and framed art and rugs fade faster than most homeowners expect. LLumar UV film gives you a permanent shield against up to 99% of that damaging ultraviolet light, applied once and backed by a manufacturer lifetime warranty.

Stop the fading
Block 99% of UV
UV is the leading cause of fading; our film stops nearly all of it before it reaches your interior.
Protect your investment
Guard hardwood, flooring, artwork, rugs and furniture from costly sun damage.
Clear, invisible film
Near-clear UV film protects without changing how your windows or home look.
Bonus heat & glare control
Many UV films also cut heat and glare for added comfort.

Clear or tinted UV protection
Not every home needs the same approach. Some homeowners want a film that's essentially invisible — added purely for UV protection with no change to how the glass looks — while others want that same fade protection bundled with heat rejection and glare control for rooms that get hot in the afternoon. During your free estimate we'll walk your home, identify which windows see the most direct sun, and recommend the LLumar UV product that fits both your protection goals and your budget.
- Near-clear UV-blocking film

Why Glass Alone Doesn't Protect Your Interior
Many homeowners assume their windows are already doing the job. Standard glass does block most UVB rays, but a large share of UVA radiation — the wavelength most responsible for the slow bleaching of fabric dyes, wood finishes and pigments in art — passes right through untreated glass. UV film adds a dedicated UV-absorbing layer laminated directly into the film, so it screens out nearly all of that UVA before it ever reaches your floors and furnishings.
Fading isn't caused by UV light alone — heat and visible light both play a role, which is why a UV-only film and a combined UV-and-solar film can produce different results in the same room. A west-facing living room that bakes all afternoon will usually benefit more from a film that pairs UV blocking with heat rejection, while a north-facing home office with a prized piece of art may only need the near-clear UV layer.
