Heat Rejection Window Film
Stop hot rooms and runaway AC bills before they start. LLumar heat-rejection and sun-control film blocks a large share of solar heat so west- and south-facing rooms across the San Fernando, Conejo and Ventura Valleys finally stay comfortable, even on the hottest afternoons.

Comfort and energy savings
Even out hot rooms
Solar film rejects heat so your AC keeps up and your home stays comfortable all afternoon.
Lower cooling costs
By cutting solar heat gain, film eases HVAC load and can meaningfully reduce summer bills.
Keep the view & light
Near-clear options reject heat without darkening your rooms or blocking your view.
Year-round low-E options
Low-emissivity film improves insulation for comfort in both summer and winter.

The right film for every window
Solar heat gain isn't uniform room to room, so we don't treat every window the same: a west-facing bonus room over a garage needs a different approach than a shaded north-facing kitchen. We match film to each window's exposure — from nearly invisible spectrally-selective film to deeper solar control on the hottest glass — and tell you honestly where film will move the needle most.

Diagnosing Heat Problem Rooms
During a free in-home assessment, we're looking for a handful of things: which direction each problem window faces, how much glass area is involved, what's on the other side of it (a patio, a pool deck, reflective concrete), and whether the room in question is the one everyone in the house avoids in the afternoon. You don't have to film the whole house to feel a difference — just the windows actually causing the problem.
One question we get from plant owners: heat-rejection film doesn't meaningfully affect visible light, so houseplants near a treated window keep getting the light they need — it's the heat and a portion of infrared energy being managed, not the light they photosynthesize with.
